Please note, this pitcher has a small manufacturing defect on the bottom rim (see last photo) - however, this is not post-manufacturing damage, and has the image still transferred right over it. otherwise, it is perfect!

This is a gorgeous antique (circa late 1800s to very early 1900s) commemorative pitcher, made in Staffordshire England by the Rowland & Marcellus Co., which celebrates the events of the early American colonial era. I suppose the British had gotten over that whole war of independence thing by then! Anyway, its a beautiful example of late Victorian transferware, and would make a proud addition to a collector of antique pottery!
