This is Serpentine of the variety Chrysotile, possibly of Swazi or Zimbabwean origin. Chrysotile is one of the 3 major mineral components in noble Serpentine (such as Bowenite) - the other 2 are Antigorite and Lizardite. The green color is the Chrysotile of which the coloring agent is Chromium. The black matrix is Magnetite, which is a form of iron oxide.
